What is Neutron?

Neutron (NTRN) is a Cosmos-Hub Interchain Security consumer chain — its consensus is provided by the Cosmos Hub validator set rather than by a separate Neutron validator set. NTRN tokens are used for governance and (in the planned phase) fee payment.

Currently in the pre-rewards phase for delegator inflation. ATOM stakers on Cosmos Hub already receive Neutron-related rewards via Interchain Security.

How does Interchain Security work?expand_more

Cosmos Hub validators (like 01node) also produce blocks for Neutron. ATOM stakers automatically earn Neutron-specific rewards via this arrangement, paid in NTRN.

Should I stake ATOM or NTRN for Neutron exposure?expand_more

For yield exposure today, ATOM on Cosmos Hub is the primary path — ICS rewards flow there. NTRN direct staking is currently for governance, not yield.
