Genesis-era validator
01node has operated on Cosmos Hub since the 2019 mainnet launch — six years of continuous uptime through every chain upgrade.
Delegate ATOM to a bare-metal validator running on owned hardware in two Tier III datacenters since 2019. Zero slashing events across 40+ networks. The address below is on-chain verifiable on the listed explorer.
cosmosvaloper17mggn4znyeyg25wd7498qxl7r2jhgue8u4qjcqCosmos Hub (ATOM) is the foundational chain of the Cosmos ecosystem — a network of more than 70 sovereign blockchains connected through the Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol (IBC). Launched in March 2019, the Hub uses a delegated-proof-of-stake model where ATOM holders stake their tokens with validators who produce blocks and finalise consensus on behalf of the network.
The Hub's role has evolved beyond just being the original Cosmos chain. Through Interchain Security, ATOM now provides shared security to consumer chains like Neutron and Stride — meaning ATOM staked at the Hub also secures applications running on those chains, and earns additional rewards for doing so.
Cosmos Hub validators are limited to the top 200 in the active set, ranked by total stake. Staking with a validator outside the active set produces no rewards, so position matters. Commission rates and uptime track records are the main differentiators among the top-tier operators.

Across 40+ Cosmos-ecosystem mainnets we've operated, zero slashing events. Cosmos Hub included.
We participate in every governance vote with published rationale. Our Yes vote on Proposal D (extending the validator set to 125, activating community pool) is on-chain since 2019.
ATOM staked with us automatically earns rewards from consumer chains via Interchain Security — no separate action required from you.
Our Cosmos signing infrastructure runs on Horcrux 2-of-3 threshold signers behind YubiHSM-custodied keys. No single node compromise can produce a slashable signature.
Install the wallet from keplr.app if you don't have it. Cosmos Hub is supported natively.
The button deep-links to Keplr with the 01node validator address pre-selected on cosmoshub-4. No need to copy-paste anything.
Enter how much ATOM you want to delegate. Keep a small buffer for transaction fees and future actions. Confirm the transaction.
Rewards start the next block and compound at your discretion. Claim or restake any time — there's no cliff.
If you decide to undelegate, your ATOM is locked for 21 days during which it earns no rewards and cannot be transferred or sold.
Validator double-sign or extended downtime triggers protocol-level token slashing. Our zero-slashing record means we have never caused a delegator loss in 6 years of Hub operation.
Validators can change their commission via on-chain transaction with a 24-hour notice. Always confirm the current rate in your wallet before signing.
21 days. During this window your ATOM is locked, earns no rewards, and cannot be transferred or sold. Plan your liquidity accordingly.
5% — one of the lowest in the active set. The current rate is always shown live in your wallet before you confirm the delegation.
01node has operated on Cosmos Hub since the 2019 mainnet genesis with zero slashing events. Validator keys are held in dual-DC YubiHSM and signed via Horcrux 2-of-3 threshold signers — see /security for the full architecture.
Yes. Delegation does not transfer your ATOM to 01node — your tokens stay in your wallet, you sign delegation messages with your own keys, and you can undelegate at any time. The validator only signs blocks on your behalf, never your tokens.
ATOM staked with us automatically earns rewards from Interchain Security consumer chains (e.g., Neutron). These accrue in the consumer chain's native token alongside ATOM rewards from the Hub itself.
APR depends on total ATOM staked across the network, current inflation rate (governance-adjusted), and your validator's commission. The figure on this page is a current estimate; actual rewards vary daily.
In June 2019 we published our validator architecture on Medium — YubiHSM dual-DC, VPN-only access, sentries per network. Seven years, forty mainnets, and zero slashing events later, here is what we kept, what we changed, and what we would do differently if we started today.
11 MIN READ→EngineeringFive years ago a validator was a server. Today it is a cluster of signers, and the math is the entire reason solo operators still slash themselves. A focused walk-through of the 2/3 signing architecture, the slashing-protection check that runs before every block, and the key-sharding property that makes a single compromised node useless.
